Device Status Updates with the Refresh Button

Introduction

Starting June 2025, users can now manually trigger a live status check for directly connected devices or those using BOAgent. This new icon appears in the “Devices” tab. This enhancement is especially useful when restoring connectivity to silent devices. Previously, users had to wait for the system to update the status icon.

Now, with a single click, you can confirm whether the device is back online and see updated page counts immediately.

Users will see the text “Click to check live status” when moving the mouse over on the "Refresh" button. In the animation below, the device is silent (this is visible via the red cloud symbol). Once the device is re-connected to the MPS system, the "Refresh" button is clicked which then changes the green cloud symbol. It's then possible to double check that the page count has increased by looking at the page count information in the "Actions" menu.
